Sheri's Story
I'm fascinated by microbes as agents of change in our bodies and the environment. Twenty-five years ago, I started working to understand how microbes transform oceans, clean up toxic environments, and help plants to grow.
I believe modulating the microbiome can have tremendous benefits for human health. I've been lucky enough to work on helping microbes help humans-- I was involved in some of the first clinical studies of microbiome therapeutics in the mid 2010's, and had a first-hand view on microbiome translation to big pharma at Johnson & Johnson. At Seed, I was fortunate to lead a team delivering best in class science to support market-leading products.
Over the years, I've built foundational and practical knowledge in consumer health + therapeutics product development targeting gut, skin, vaginal, lung, and infant microbiomes. I've worked on discovery, preclinical development, and clinical development.
I'm excited to use this skill set to help innovators bring products to market, using my abilities to develop IP and communicate scientific innovation (5 granted patents and 27 scientific publications ).
